My laptop gets to around 60-66 degrees while under load, the problem is that the fan is extremely loud!

So, I was wondering is this thing would be worth it? Would it even lower my temps?

Does anyone have any experience with it?

How is the ventelation on the bottom of the laptop? If alreat has massive grooves the air can get through easily, a laptop board might help. Personally I would try changing the thermal paste aswell.

My laptop is on a stand (I have a picture on my profile), and there is quite a lot of venting on the bottom.

I really don't want to open it up and void the warranty.

If you already have it on a stand and the venting is good, you probably won't see the biggest drop in temperature/fanspeed.

If you have some regular case fans and a USB cable laying around you could make some ghetto cooling for the laptop, to if it will help.

I might do that, if I can find a silent fan.
