What happens if windows isn't activated for over a month without a product key because i installed windows 10 without a product key and i want to know if anything will happen after that time period or no?

Well it should still work overall I think, however you can't get updates, get anoying messages bla bla.

You should be able to use Windows normally (mostly) even if it hasn't been activated.

most of the time it will just kind of die. No updates, some functionality will be lost. Some people actually use it without activating it. If you are really hard for the money, just wait until you can get a really good deal. What ever you do, DO not do anything illegal (wink, wink).

Im using it without activation, it works fine. All you have is a little grey translucent piece of text in the bottom right that says "Activate windows". It even goes away when im playing games in full screen mode so its really not that bad. You just cant go into personisation to change the background (you have to manually select a picture and then click use as desktop background instead). It even works with multiple pictures and you can change the timings, although I forgot how I was able to do this.

 

Using it without activation is fine, you just sometimes get messages saying activate windows but these are like once every 2 months so its not bad at all.

And I do get updates even though I haven't activated it, so I think you might be wrong on that.

 

 

EDIT: Just done some research, you get updates for a year, so just reinstall once a year and you will be fine.
