Any good mid-range HDTV's for gaming?

My Westinghouse TV that I had for years finally died on me and I need a new TV but all the TV's I seem to find that are suitable for gaming while still looking great are over $400. I know literally nothing when it comes to a good TV, like I said I owned a Westinghouse TV. Any reccomendations for a good ~$300 HDTV?

I don't really have a preference. I know I'm not going to get a 4K TV for under $400, so 1080p. I plan to buy online but I live fairly close to a lot of major retailers. Best Buy, Microcenter, Target, etc.

K well there are thousands of options so you need to narrow down your results.

Make sure you get one that was made in the past few years, and try to get samsung if possible.

Also check displaylag.com or rtings  to make sure the tv has a PC mode for low input lag. Anything under 50ms is decent.
