Why would you put pressure on the CPU if it didn't fit when you placed it on the socket? And for that matter, why would you not be careful with a $160 processor that can easily be damaged? I was personally extremely careful with my 8320, making sure not to exert any pressure on it and that the triangles were lined up.

 Motherboard: MSI Z97S Krait Edition █ CPU: Intel i7-4790K █ GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 780Ti █ RAM: 8GB AVEXIR DDR3 1600  █ Storage: 120GB Kingston HyperX SSD + 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD

█ Monitor: 21.5" 1080p 60Hz  PSU: 700w █ Case: Fractal Define R4 █       ...LTT Dark Theme master race.

just turn the pc case upside down. Should be fine.

What to do..

Friend ordered her parts for her pc, starts putting everything together etc etc.

I'm helping her via webcam, and she turns it off to watch linus's tutorial on how to install and AMD CPU on "Techquickie"

She puts the cpu in the wrong way, puts the retention arm down, pretty sure she bent literally every pin, and now she's raging that I didn't help her, yet the video literally goes step by step with AMAZING easiness.

Wtf do i say to her -.-

Here's the video:
