Hi,

I already have assembled all the necessary parts for my first pc, but I don't know witch configuration to use in my case. I will use the 2 included fans and 1 fan I will buy myself. It's running on 1650 rpm with 57.24 CFM. Witch configuration should I use and should I get more fans? Were should I place the Intake and where the exhaust fans? Any cheap fan recommendations maybe? Do I need a pressure or a airflow fan?

There are filters at the front, top and bottom, but not on the back. Some people had trouble installing the bottom fan.

Thank you for your time.

The problem is that there is the drive bay in the front of the second fan slot in the front, so the airflow will be limited. Any other configs?

In which case the fan will help cool your drives. The plan here is to have more air going into the case for a positive airflow, this helps reduce dust.

And you still have 1 fan with no obstacles. That config will be fine. You can test others yourself, like having 1 front, 1 bottom. But with only 3 fans, 2 in, 1 out is way to go.

What are you getting more fans for? The stock case fans should be fine.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Two front 140s, a bottom 120, two top 120s and a rear 120. Top and rear are exhaust, all others are intakes.

The two 140s will help keep air pressure slightly positive but having the bottom 120 will help feed cool air straight to the GPU.

I recommend high airflow for all fans and run them at a low RPM unless more cooling is needed. Try to get fans from the same series (120 and 140 variants of the same design). Running at the same speed with the same design the 140s should move more air than the 120s. Keep the fan speeds synced by RPM rather than voltage applied.
