So, basically, I have a HDD with windows only on it. I cleared all other files and backed them up. So, my question is: how do I get the OS that is currently on my HDD into my new ssd. I plan on making the ssd my new OS and important program drive, and my HDD my game drive. Any ideas? I have a bootable windows 10 flash drive, do I just unplug my HDD, run the flash drive and install windows in my ssd? I'm not sure if it will cause conflict once I plug in my HDD with windows still on it? Anyone know what I'm saying and how to go about accomplishing my goal in the most efficient way? Again: my goal is to put windows 10 on my new SSD and clear my current installation off of my current HDD so that I can use my key on the other installation.

Can't you just like plug USB, power on your PC and press F9 for boot option. Select USB and boot from there.

Then just delete and format both drivers. Install windows on SSD and that's all.
