Honest opinion, price is important, and first build is 90 dollars cheaper then the rest.

First build is instantly disqualified. No reason to be building with DDR3 RAM unless you like spending money again in a couple of years--and the 4460 is not a "you're set for five years" CPU.

Either way you go between the last two, I'd get a better PSU. The CX series is poorly made. The CXM series, on the other hand, is perfect for this application. So's the S12II or M12II.

The question from there is what games are you playing and what's your expectation. If you want to run 1080p ultra on AAA titles, the 470 is the bare minimum. If you're just playing CS:GO, Overwatch, DOTA, WoW and League, the 460 is more than plenty.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Don't get an i5 at the expense of getting lower calibre GPU's.... get an i3 6100 and use the money you saved to get an RX480 or 1060 6GB imo. and there isn't really any good reason to get previous generation components unless you can get a great deal on them.... get skylake.

You can get windows 10 OEM keys off kinguin for ~$40-$50 (Cant remember exact pricing). You could also get a 1050 ti as an alternative to 470/460.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

I'd suggest a 1060 6Gb over the 460, it's not that much more expensive

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)

im maxing bf1 60fps at 1440p with it and a 6700k (just to let you know the possibility) yo u wont be as great ingames like bf1 due to it being a very heavy cpu game . but its a great card anyways make sure you set a custom fan cvurve for it if your getting the blower (i do too and it ocs great)  get a better psu never cheap out on psu if it goes everything might go with it

drop the evo ssd nd grab a san disk ultra II (msy being cheapest for these pretty sure) the spead difference wont be noticed unless your doing benchmarks, heavy computing etc
