Hello,

I'm looking to purchase a new gaming mouse pad under $40USD. What are the benefits of a large one that goes under the keyboard too? I don't mind branding and I have a Razer keyboard and mouse. Please let me know!

Regards,

Richard

EDIT: I've never used a hard mouse pad, what are the benefit to those?

So you're looking for a mouse mat, not a actual mouse? (this is what I guess based on your post)

I can recommend the Steelseries QcK Mouspad, there are various sizes.

Yea! So sorry, just realized I never wrote pad... Do you like the extended pads that go under the keyboard too?

well if you never move mouse and keyboard, they may be a good thing, but as I'm constantly having my keyboard and mouse in different positions, they would be to impractically for me. but they look cool. With a smaller mousepad you have the option to place the mouse wherever you like

There isn't really much benefit to an extended mouse pad (the ones that go under your keyboard). Main thing is that it just looks better. Anyways, I would recommend the Glorious Extended Mouse Mat. It is pretty simple, being completely black or white, other than a small logo in the bottom right corner. Either way, it is cloth, has anti-fray, and doesn't smell like a tire factory when you first use it. It's only about $20-$25 on Amazon if I remember correctly. Also, if you wanted an RGB lit mouse pad, this does not have RGB.
