Am I almost VR capable?

I'm going over what the "Geforce Experience" claims are recommended specs for VR. It would appear I meet all of them accept for Graphics card.

As you'll see, the graphics card is just about the newest thing in this computer. It would be rather surprising that some of this hardware, going on more than 5 years old, could be fully capable for this, but if it weren't capable of other things, then I guess I wouldn't be inclined to update it, unless a certain part fails.

Recently I've been saving diligently for a new PC... over a fairly long period of time.  I just about have enough to upgrade everything essential... except the graphics card. If I go ahead with the upgrade, i'll just have the system, with a few parts from the old PC, but really, I'll just be doing what I've been able to do already, but slightly... betterer??? and it honestly that won't really do much for me. I've had my sights set on VR for a long time, even in it's current loopy state. I know that there's a supposed new minimum spec, but i'm ultimately hoping to play Elite Dangerous or Obduction with this.

 

With this information, I really need to know... Am I really a graphics card update away from Being VR ready? Do these parts meet the requirements?

 

Here is the system in question. I need a straight answer. Am I good for the sole GPU upgrade, or will I have to sit on this longer?

No you need a CPU upgrade as well.  You need at least a 4th generation i5

The GPU may be, seeing as oculus recently release lowered specs, but the CPU needs a upgrade. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

New CPU and GPU. A 770 with 2gb of RAM is not enough. Trust me not getting a constant 90FPS makes you sick
