Geforce gtx 770 2gb outdated?

So. i bought forza today. but i keep getting warnings about low video memory. and i have low fps. Is 2gb to little too run this game? Running it on lowest settings possible btw.

if thats your issue then yea. I have a 770 4gb and its fine. But people with 2gb 770s are starting to have issues.

WIll it help to overclock the memory?

hmm, not really. it wont really fix the issue. Maybe if you have some extra cash an upgrade can be a good way to fix it. A 1060 has 6gb of vram.

maybe in fps, but a overclock cant change the amount of ram.

2GB graphics cards are really on their last legs. Something with more VRAM will be the way to go. Anything above 4GB, preferably even 6GB is what you should be looking for if you want to upgrade.

I own a 770gtx 2gb and can feel the bottleneck when i use downsampling over 1080p in Fallout 4 , i can not recomend this card with 2gb vram anymore. Even skyrim with Texturen mods Hits my fps hard. Since i will buy me ,for my bday next month, a 3440x1440p with 75hz freesync and for christmas its gonna be a used r9 fury x until AMD puts in a good high end card.

2GB VRAM cards are on there way out tbh, its not enough for the higher end titles so they cant be considered entry level if they cant play games at decent framerates at atleast low in the newest AAA games, if they cant do that then they are just shit  but tbh my 660 in the LAN PC does fine with most things i throw at it, but all i do throw at it is OSU, some anime, CIV V and CS:GO but in those games it does great at decent settings for CS:GO 120+ fps
