AsRock has a pretty bad rep around here, the Asus board is the better of the two.

Do you have a color scheme for your build?

but i think the asrock has better features

I can give you at least five reasons why the ASUS motherboard is the better choice.

 

1) It is ROG

2) It will give better overclocking potential

3) Build quality is excellent

4) You can buy water blocks for the mosfet 1 in conjunction with the CPU

5) Regular fixes for bugs 

6) It comes with an undetectable "hack" for games which is very useful in FPS games known as sonic radar

7) Better onboard audio

 

The option is yours though. I personally don't like socket 1150 CPUs at the moment due to the bad overclocking potential but the motherboards are feature rich.
