Which is the best?

So, in your opinion, which thermal compound would you recommend (regardless of cost) for a 4770k and H100i?

From what I read, the most popular ones seem to be:
-Arctic Silver 5
-Arctic Cooling MX-4

-Gelid GC-Extreme

-IC Diamond 7

-Noctua NT-H1

-Prolimatech PK-3

-Tuniq TX-4

 

Which do you reckon will give the best temps?

IC Diamond, Gelid GC, and MX4 is up there tied.

The paste that the H100 comes with is good enough, you don't really need to buy a tube.

Arctic Silver 5 if you plan on not removing the heatsink/waterblock often, or IC Diamond if you plan on removing your heatsink/waterblock often.

I don't necessarily enjoy the burn-in time

I think the temperature difference is going to be within margin of error.

The way you apply the thermal paste is probably making a greater impact.

I heard lapping the H100 block and then using little paste is best.
