Hi, I live in Canada and My gaming PC recently broke... I want to build a new one but with the exchange, I don't have a big budget. I was wondering if anyone could refer me to the best graphics card to play all games on ultra/very high well over 60 fps that would fit in a 1500$ cad or1100$ usd? Thanks

Wow. That's a lot of money spend toward a single GPU. If you have that budget then definitely go for the GTX Titan.

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

I'm assuming you mean $1500 CAD for the entire build... I'm sure you could fit in a GTX 1070.

Long term it would be but I think if you're going long term, it would be better if you go with the 1080 imo.

I meant to put a 1070 in the build. But it's better than the 550W powersupplies that other people are recommending. 6700k + 1070 with 550W is not a great idea.

I would have suggested a 6600K and a GTX 1070. No real point in an i7 unless you do some kind of heavy work load. A 6600K will even handle some streaming. Also, a 1070 is more for 1080p 144Hz or 1440p 60Hz. for 1080p 60Hz its completely overkill

6700K and 1070 on a 550W is more than enough.

A 1080 and 6700K are just fine on a 550W so 1070 is ez (unless he wants to SLI in the future, then go 750W)

And if he's running a 1080p 60Hz monitor, that 1070 is going to be a Formula 1 racecar in a skating rink.

6700K and 1070 on a 550W is more than enough.

A 1080 and 6700K are just fine on a 550W so 1070 is ez (unless he wants to SLI in the future, then go 750W)

This website needs to get it's shit together. Everyone I've talked to so far has recommended at least 600W for i7-6700k + 1070.

I'd change the cooler to the beQuiet PURE ROCK. Just be noted, if you plan on going for 1080p 144Hz gaming, the i5 6600K will bottleneck the GTX 1070 in quite a few titles.

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.
