i7 3770K with 360mm radiator temps.

I am runnings an i7 3770K with a 360mm radiator on a custom loop. fans running at around 1200RPM.

Runnig idle at around 40-50C.

Is that normal? I thinks its a little high but I am not sure.

I have changes many times after changing cases and I still have the same temps

That aint right, I had a 3770k and a 280x on a 240mm rad with push/pull (going back a little while) and temps were lower than that. What is your loop order? You sure the pump is running?

Yes the pump is running. the order is pump/reservoar, rad., CPU-block then reservoar.

It's not "fucked" it's just not functioning correctly. As others have said reseat the CPU block and use new thermal paste. If you can't do that then try pushing on the block if temps go down you know it's not tight enough.

Then there must be something wrong with the block. Have you tried flushing it out?

What is your OC? VCore in particular

typically, you should be 5-8° above ambient temperature for idle. what is your room temperature?

verify your load percentage (could be driving your heat up), CPU voltage (use CPU-Z), shake case to dislodge any trapped air in the CPU block.

is pump pwm controlled , if so what speed is it running at ? have you tried running pump slower/ faster , i have a 3770k and those idle temps are worrying if your not in a sauna

Its no air there, and the room temperature is 21C and the road is about 10%

The pump is powered by a molex adapter

then yes, your idle temperature is too high.

remove front panel and filter, turn fans to 100% and recheck temperatures.

10% is enough to trigger CPU to run faster than idle. CPU-Z will tell you this.

Ivy bridge is when Intel stopped using fluxless solder and started using tim paste in between the ihs and the cpu die. The tim paste that Intel used on Ivy bridge sucked ass which is why your temps could be this high. People delid their Ivy bridge to replace the tim that Intel used and had their temps lowered by 10-15 °C.
