Hello there, i have a quick noob question for you guys.

Alright so, I have a 6700k and this is my first time overclocking.

I'm currently running on 4.5ghz and i ran stability test on AIDA64 with no errors.

Now my question is,

I haven't fiddled around with my voltages yet [meaning it is set on AUTO in bios].

So should i change the voltage or just let it be on Auto?

During AIDA64 the average voltage was 1.329V (Max- 1.352, MIn- 1.320).

Thanks a ton! :D

Never let voltage on auto when overclocking... put a fixed amount, which will depend on the cooler and how far you want to push it.

Alright, so what voltage would you recommend to start with? 1.330V?

Appreciate it.

I'd just go with 1.35v and as long as the temps are okay then keep pushing clocks until it's no longer stable.

What was your cooler again?
