Very unstable connection while gaming started 2 days ago

AnTicXz

So this started 2 or 3 days ago. While playing games my ping and connection is ok but then it spikes up to 300-700 ping for like 10 seconds or so... the strange thing is that the connection is kind of stable at the high pin but not really.

I have no Idea why this stated or how ti fix it.

my network config is this

Ethernet to a powerline adapter

powerline to powerline

powerline adapter to rounter (by ethernet)

then the rounter to the modem. (by ethernet)

Ive tried plugging the ethernet from the second power line adapter to modem directly and that did help so its not the router

Can you try plunging your computer into the router directly? That would help to make sure it's not an issue with the powerline adapters. If your powerline setup has worked for a decent amount of time before these ping spikes started then it's very likely to be an issue with your actual internet connection :/

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Can you not use a laptop or move your PC temporarily there to test whether you still get ping spikes?

not the adapters just ran a cord to the router and was having the same problem... it is either the modem or the isp

Modem, highly unlikely but try restarting it anyway

It's most likely to be your ISP where you could complain but nothing is probably gonna happen :/
