Unless you're planning on putting it on the motherboard's tracers you will be fine. After all it is CPU thermal paste, it's supposed to go on it. I don't think it's worth getting new thermal paste. That is if you already own it.

I had an account called Joegeddon active since April 20th 2015

Arctic Silver 5, though there are others that perform a smidge better for the same cost (I don't know them off the top of my head).

AS5 is also not electrically conductive enough to be worrisome, it says so on their product page:

Quote

Not Electrically Conductive:
Arctic Silver 5 was formulated to conduct heat, not electricity.
(While much safer than electrically conductive silver and copper greases, Arctic Silver 5 should be kept away from electrical traces, pins, and leads. While it is not electrically conductive, the compound is very slightly capacitive and could potentially cause problems if it bridges two close-proximity electrical paths.)

So Arctic Silver 5(silver) or the coolermaster maker nano(diamond)

I know Arctic silver 5 is is still good but as it has electic conductivity risks so which is better both in performance and safety?

I7 6700k here.

it should be fine either way, but the maker nano has better performances;

also, why did you posted in GPU section if you're asking about your CPU?

I've used AS5 for YEARS. It was top-notch back in the day, but newer thermal paste with new technology built-in out does it. Personally...

- Arctic MX-4

- GELID GC-Extreme

The nano-diamond particle thermal pastes (e.g. Wanted Formula 7) are 1/2 or 1°C better, but are VERY thick.
