I am looking to upgrade my pc from a intel core 2 duo to a Xeon x5667. I need help to find a motherboard. I saw somewhere that any Lga 1366 Mobo should work?

Depending at what xeon processor you are planning on purchasing affects the choice you make. The socket needs to fit for the cpu same with any other CPU.

I am thinking of getting a Xeon x5667. It is very cheap and has good performance.

Regular LGA1366 motherboards (X58) should work, yes. I suppose you don't care about ECC memory, right?

Thanks. Don't know what you are asking with that question. I am currently looking at 24gb of ECC drr3 at 1333 because I know this cpu supports both ECC and non ECC.

Not all X58 boards support ECC as far as I know. Also, keep in mind X58 boards can be pretty expensive. I wouldn't get one over $100 for instance because quite frankly, the performance of the platform doesn't justify that kind of cost.

For example: to match something like a 2500K or even a 2600K, you'd already need to overclock, while a 2500K isn't that much more expensive and P67 boards don't cost a whole lot either.

For like $200, you'd have something much more potent than an almost obsolete X58 Xeon.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

The reason I asked if you care for ECC is because those motherboards, while they support the CPU in question, don't support ECC memory.

To be honest, even if they did, you'd be better off without it. Too much of a price difference for something that most likely don't apply to your usage.
