That looks old and somewhat big indeed. Also loads of plastics... Can't replace that with something else? (I can think of some better mounting systems) Also, strange shape of that copper CPU contact plate... Seen square and round, but nothing like this strange Dell inspired stuff...

Yeah its a funny shape because the CPU is mounted at an angle not square with the board.

The project goes on and we have a power switch wired (soldered directly to daughter board) in to the dell proprietary board! lots of paper work to do but things are going on slowly!
