The Armor uses last-generation cooler technology (Twin Frozr 5 instead of Twin Frozr 6) so it will run warmer then the MSI RX 480 Gaming or Gaming X, but temps should still be well under 80 degrees, assuming your cases has proper airflow.

my case is core 500 with one 120mm fan on top
