Is this setup safe?

Go to solution Solved by WEEEEEE,

If you turn the switch on the back of your PSU off, then that should turn off all of the lights. Completely cutting the power is safe, just as long as your computer is turned off before hand.

I have my PSU connected to a power strip, which is connected to another power strip, which then goes into the wall. They're all the same wattage and everything, but I'm just wondering if the power is going through too many places for a safe rig setup, mainly concerning the whole being grounded thing, as you can see the rig itself (not plugged in when I took the picture), is on some thin carpet squares. Also is it ok to hit this switch off every night? The reason I would like to do this is to turn off all of the lights, particularly my mouse light which doesn't have a switch, so I have to unplug my mouse every night. Should I get a usb switch to add to the setup or is completely cutting the power to the entire rig every night safe to do? Otherwise I'll just keep unplugging my mouse every night. The motherboard light and the mouse are the only ones that don't either have a switch or don't power off when I shut down the system. The mobo light isn't bright really, but I see no reason to have led's on if they're not in use. The main reason I ask this is because my bed is fairly close to my setup, and it's a little bright when I shut off all the lights in my room. So bottom line: is it safe to cut the power every night or should I just unplug the mouse, or some other alternative?

The power is fine.

Id sleep your computer at night. That will turn off the usb lights and use almost do power.

USB doesn't use much power at all

Like  I said it's not much about power it's just about the lights, and I don't think that sleeping it will do that either, because fully powering down the system while still plugged in still leaves the mouse lights on

Well you can unplug your mouse, or get one without lights.

If you turn the switch on the back of your PSU off, then that should turn off all of the lights. Completely cutting the power is safe, just as long as your computer is turned off before hand.
