Upgrade from 32× to 64× os

Can I upgrade my PCs os from windows 7 32× to win 7 64× with keeping all programs and filea? 2 gb ram( will be upgraded to 8 gb). intel Pentium Dual-core cpu e5300 2.6ghz

You can move from 32 bit to 64 bit, but it is basically a full reinstall.

 

ie: backup your files, and do a custom install and select 64 bit install.    then reinstall all your other programmes and return all files from backup.

 

I would recommend a full clean install.   

Note that quite a few of the additional programmes will have choice of different versions on reinstall (64 bit versions).

as @Rohime said. Moving from 32 bit to 64 bit requires a  full re-install of windows. Back up all your files before hand.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Nope. It requires full reinstall. And while you can run some software without reinstalling (copy-paste to another drive and back), most will require reinstalling to work properly.
