Yeah, no. I don't really like M.2s, especially in this case when it offers no speed improvements.

that cooler looks just like a Hyper 212 with fancy fans to me tbh, would get something better and also what @dexxterlab97 said if you can fit that on your motherboard

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Get an EVGA GS/G2 PSU instead of the Corsair one, especially if you're overclocking. Much better component quality and efficiency. And it's safer.

I'll look at the price difference and think about it.

Honestly for a high end build like this you should try to squeeze in the 6700k.  I went through the same decision process when I built my system two years ago and now I wish I had gone for the i7 for $100 more.  The higher clock speed and hyper threading will be nice to have and extend the life of the system enough to make it worthwhile, IMO.

i7 4790k @4.7 | GTX 1070 Strix | Z97 Sabertooth | 32GB  DDR3 2400 mhz | Intel 750 SSD | Define R5 | Corsair K70 | Steel Series Rival | XB271, 1440p, IPS, 165hz | 5.1 Surround
PC Build

I have a build for the 1231v3 but I abandoned the idea of using it after many people here, including moderators, said not to get it because the i5-6600k was better.

In multithreaded tasks? Yeah no, it'll be far better than the 6600k if you're going to stream and video edit.

Didn't know about that. Still, the Tom'sHardware one explains what the tiers mean, and also explains about safety, quality, etc.

Why would you need to explain something that's self explanatory?

Not everyone is an expert in these fields. It's useful to know exactly what the tiers stand for IMO. Looks like you guys have been around here long enough to not need that though :P

Don't really need to be an expert in it. I can see if we can add a margin into it if you want.
