So I have just swapped over my PC to a new case, PSU and cooler and everything went rather well apart from the GPU.

So normally I run an R9 290, when I run this card I get no display signal, the BIOS did need to reset due to corruption but I cant get any image with this.

So I put in my 750ti, now I can get a signal here but it gets stuck on the gigabyte skull and wont move any further.

If I run off iGPU everything works fine and boots perfectly.

Both cards are known to work, only real thing I can suspect is the PCI lanes, possiblly the PLX chip?

Thanks

Power supply issue possibly

Possibly, could frankenstien my old one to see, but its strange as its easily powering the iGPU and 750Ti, it just freezes which makes me think either board OR BIOS revision.

Just now, Ezio Auditore said:

try changing to another pci lane. even 1x is alright

Tried that, still nada

Solved it, was the BIOS not running the cards propperly, as soon as I installed F10 bios on the G1 Sniper M3 it worked brilliantly

Thanks for the help all!
