Red team or blue team

I am considering a new system build as my old one is getting pretty worn out. I have chosen all my system parts except the CPU which I can't figure out what to get. Should I wait for the Zen platform on AMD or should i go i5 7series when they are available.

Wait and compare when Zen is out/benchmarked.

We mostly know what to expect from intel, but zen is probably still one of the biggest question marks.

Whatever you do, at this time i recommend against anything AMD that is pre-zen, we'll wait and see for the benchmarks if zen will be something to recommend.

Zen can be amazing or the biggest disapointment ever. I personally hope for a comeback.

If u wait, u will be stuck with your PC for another 3-6 months. Can u ?

If not get i5-6600K.

PS. U need different mobo for Intel and different for AMD. Just making sure u havent picked your mobo yet.
