Net drops everyday

The 5GHZ network disappears for a minute or so and then comes back working perfectly fine, the regular 2.4 network is still up when it drops (sometimes they both drop). I'm not sure if the problem is with my network card or if its my router. I have an rt-ac66u with a tp link tl-wdn4800 card, i'm also using merlin firmware (the problem was still there prior to firmware so doubt its that).

Try upgrading the firmware of the router. I had similar issues and this fixed them.
