You can get windows OEM keys off kinguin for $15. 32Gb is enough for a windows boot drive.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

Hey many looks fine to me. Just consider getting a new SSD after a bit. You will love it. Or even trade that hard drive for one.!

Advice one: wait a month for the SSD to do the build. So you can install windows and not have to go through the trouble of moving anything over and potential OS problems.

2. Go with a 2x4GB kit of RAM. Single channel will give you RAM bottlenecks

My Build, v2.1 --- CPU: i7-8700K @ 5.2GHz/1.288v || MoBo: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming || RAM: 4x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 2666 14-14-14-33 || Cooler: Custom Loop || GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black, on water || PSU: EVGA G2 850W || Case: Corsair 450D || SSD: 850 Evo 250GB, Intel 660p 2TB || Storage: WD Blue 2TB || G502 & Glorious PCGR Fully Custom 80% Keyboard || MX34VQ, PG278Q, PB278Q

The Experiment --- CPU: i5-3570K @ 4.0 GHz || MoBo: Asus P8Z77-V LK || RAM: 16GB Corsair 1600 4x4 || Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo || GPUs: Asus GTX 750 Ti, || PSU: Corsair TX750M Gold || Case: Thermaltake Core G21 TG || SSD: 840 Pro 128GB || HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

R.I.P. Asus X99-A motherboard, April 2016 - October 2018, may you rest in peace. 5820K, if I ever buy you a new board, it'll be a good one.

Then get 16GB now... 8GB is plenty for gaming, and light content creation, which is really all the load I would put on an i5.

don't need dual channel, it doesn't give you any 'ram bottlenecks', you'll save the slot for later and it doesn't impact gaming performance.

The Windows directory on my Windows 10 laptop is over 35GB. You should be able to get a 60GB+ ssd for around the same price as a 32GB. Or you might consider getting a small hdd, or simply go with the 2TB hdd to start.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
