hey guys.. first of all CRINGE WARNING
... I'm looking for a good sized (43in+) TV for PC gaming (and console) - i have £1000 to spend ($1200usd)

main reason i need such a large display is because i am a couch user

I've tried looking for some my self but just get confused by the jargon and tech specs

i found this and on another site it said it had 600hz refresh rate so i guessed it was a lot better than the 50/60 junk tv's i keep finding

That was more about how 60Hz and 120Hz panels can be used by TVs when they are limited by inputs and content, whereas a conventional monitor can run ports like DisplayPort and run on machines that can output 60+ fps without interpolation or other post processing techniques.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

soo .. any real replys?

I can't find input lag info on DisplayLag, although every Sony TV they have is tested and returns results in the "Great" category.

You will most likely be locked into 60hz, due to input restrictions and the fact that mainstream 4K panels haven't pushed past 60hz.

You're better suited to a monitor with DisplayPort for any serious PC gaming, but any of those Sony TVs will be fairly good console gaming and casual PC gaming.
