Logan over at tech syndicate did a good video outlining a $600 PC. It doesn't include an SSD or an OS. But it does have a very good GPU and an acceptable CPU. If I were to swap the list you have I'd change the CPU to something more like an AMD X4 750K. It should be nearly as fast as that 5800k it just doesn't include integrated graphics. Which if you play on keeping a dedicated GPU in there isn't really needed.

https://teksyndicate.com/videos/kill-your-console-build-2-600-gaming-pc

And you could take out the HDD or SDD and live with just one of them and save more money for the other later.

My rig: 2600k(4.2 GHz) w/ Cooler Master hyper 212+, Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3, Powercolor 7870 xt(1100/1500) w/AIO mod,

8GB DDR3 1600, 120GB Kingston HyperX 3K SSD, 1TB Seagate, Antec earthwatts 430, NZXT H2

Verified max overclock, just for kicks: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2609399

Pull the SSD, get an graphics-less APU and get a cheap kit of RAM. Also, the case was craptastic and the graphics card is nearly 3 years old.

Also, the PSU wants to explode.

You need a PSU, or the computer is useless.

whats the difference between the full and SP1 for the operating system?

Full has customer support and support for both 32 and 64bit natively. SP1 doesn't, and is still better for you.

oh ok, so you just need to make sure you are getting 32 or 64 when getting SP1?

Yes. Get 64 Bit. 32 Bit doesn't support over 4GB RAM.
