Posted October 11, 2016 So I'm going to buy a new GPU soon and I dont know what to get. Im deciding between a couple of RX 480's in crossfire or a 1070. I'm also wondering if there are deals on GPU's on black friday/cyber monday because i might just wait until then. Black Friday doesn't always ensure tech discounts. If anything... sometimes they go up a little. Don't get 2 rx 480s. You will screw yourself in games with bad cf support Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/674408-new-gpu/#findComment-8685518 Share on other sites
 Posted October 11, 2016 I'd go with the 1070 and a 1440p monitor as those tend to pair well together. 4K usually struggles with the 1070 depending on the detail level you plan to play at while the 1080 does better at 4K.
