So after a few months of working as a teacher for a young boy in summer, I've finally been able to come up with a little money to buy me a new phone.

I currently have an iPhone 4S that my gf lend me, because my previous phone finally died after a hard fall 9_9 (it was a very low-end phone, a Samsung Galaxy Fame). The thing is, the iphone is very old and somehow damaged and is starting to be troublesome, so I've decided it's time for a brand new one.

My budget is pretty low in comparison with the ones I see over here, so I've accomplished to set a realistic suitable target: the Asus Zenfone Max.

The budget is around 180$ so I it really fits it + adding a phone case. I just wanted to know some opinions and/or thoughts about it before finally buying it.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't recommend asus phones after my own experience, if I were you go for the Oneplus X, though i think its out of stock right now.

Or the moto X 2nd gen should be in you're budget

I've looked into those options but I really value the dual slot for SIM cards and the 5000mAh battery.

Asus' bloatware isn't a problem since I plan to root it anyway.
