I'd like to introduce my AMD rig

Pics stink because I didn't want to move it out just for pics.

It consists of:

CM 690 NVidia edition case

16gig 1600mhz ram 4x4 (don't recall brand(s) in this build much

ASUS sabertooth 990fx

2x Galaxy GTX 670

120gig SSD

2x64gig SSD RAID0

2TB HDD RAID0

1TB Storage

1250W PSU..I think from Xion

My thoughts as I was reading this:

"Hmm... okay. AMD build with nVidia cards. He probably just has nVidia cards in both."

"WHY DO YOU NOT PUT AMD CARDS IN THE AMD SYSTEM"

*sees last picture*

"Oh. He is obviously not thinking clearly."

My System: CPU: Intel i5 3570K GPU: 2x Radeon HD 7950 (crossfire)  RAM: Patriot Viper Extreme 16GB 1600MHz Mobo: ASUS Maximus V Formula HDD: 2x WD Caviar Black 1TB (Raid 0), 1x WD Caviar Red 2TB, 1x Samsung 840 EVO 250GB PSU: Corsair AX850 Gold  -  CPU+Graphics cards watercooled by full custom loop.

I've thought about it, but I go back and forth between eyefinity and extended desktops. So really prefer the amd cards since they give me flexibility...

Plus if I did switch it, the amd cards would be in a nvidia case :P

You really have to work on your cable management, and your color scheme seems to be all over the place.

Have you tried switching the bottom card with the top card? The blue PCB would accent that blue Vengeance memory nicely, I think.
I think he should first remove the side panel from the C70, then switch the motherboard+cpu of each system. Then his AMD system would truly be AMD, and he would still have nVidia cards in an nVidia case. And he should leave the side panel off of the C70. Or maybe burn it.

I like it on how you putted the AMD Build into the Nvidia edition case instead of putting the Intel Build into it
well the AMD build was built a few years ago. It started off as a Phenom x4 965, MSI mobo, and some gtx 480s. The intel rig of mine was just finished this past month. With being a full time student, I don't want to take time to swap out and risk something happening.

Well I have an extra 7970 with the blue PCB. I didn't think about it until you mentioned it, but it would look better. I'll do that once I'm done with todays classes.

and @Tan no need to be hateful at my side panel! I'm a full time student so I don't have the full time needed to take out each and swap. The nvidia case has been with me for about 3 years completed. Just upgraded over the years. The intel is just finished recently. Maybe once I'm done with school I'll consider it. Though at that time I'll just build another. :P

I'll admit that when I put together the build in the nVidia case i didn't care so much about color scheme or cables. Though I did my best later on in it. Doesnt have many cables blocking airflow still not the best though. Though the newest build I did, but I don't like the 2 color looks I try and mix things up Red/blue type look. Case I didn't have much choice. Got it as a birthday gift.

I should add this in. The build in the nVidia case was build about 3 years ago, just upgraded over the years. (mobo/cpu/gpu) + more storage space.

The intel build was completed just recently.

Being full time student, I choose not to do much swapping around. Last thing I want is that off chance something breaks.
