Is it possible to overclock a cpu more than 5GHz? if cooling was not a problem?

Possible and there is the 5GHz club here on forum, you just have to have a good chip and you can break the 5GHz - provided you got adequate cooling and mobo.

yes M-ursu is having his FX-8350 at 5.3 GHZ and AMD is selling a 5GHZ proccesor

Yep I got 5.1ghz but I wouldn't recommend it.

With adequate cooling, even P4's went over 7 GHz. The AMD 9590 (or whatever) is stock at 5 GHz. For more, I'd just check Oveclock.net.

I use custom loop with 140,280 and 360mm Rad's also i live in Finland so my room temp is under 20, so my load temp is around 50c max.

Also i have Crosshair V formula-Z MoBo, which allows OC to happen.

Graphene tops out at either 327 GHz or 427 GHz (427 according to this: http://gizmodo.com/scientists-just-figured-out-how-to-make-lightning-fast-1177727488) so theoretically you can overclock a cpu higher than 10 GHz provided you have a quality cpu that won't eat itself up and good cooling on it.

I can get my 4770k up to 5GHz with reasonable voltages but I am running a hyper 212 at the moment so I will stick with 4.5
