So i'm building my pc sometime in the next month or when i get some cash and when my family finds a place to live.

 

So i'm wondering since i have the time to wait should i just wait a bit longer to see what nvidia pulls out of their hat with the 780Ti? Nvidia is really sweetening the deal from what their future game bundles look like. Shadowplay ect..

 

My first choice was the R-290X at first but since the news of the 780 Ti that has changed and i feel inclined to see what Nvidia has up their sleeve.

 

But amd also has mantle But that has yet to be seen on what it can do and if it will even take off. So waiting for the 780 Ti would mean i could probably see some action of mantle on Bf4 and here results on that.

 

Throw in your opinion. Should i wait or should i pull the trigger on the R-290X when i can. P.s I will probably be doing a crossfire/Sli 780 Ti/R-290X setup. Single 2560x1440 monitor.

Every and all statements made by Nvida or AMD are utter bullshit until the card has been put through real world benchmarks by third parties. Wait and see.

If you already have a decent (meaning not great but not bad) you could probably wait a few months for Maxwell.

And if you're ready to buy 2 cards over 500$ each than you don't have to care about Mantle, you're computer is going to be fine for 2560x1440.

Well the thing is i don't have a computer. Unless you count a 1 core celeron, 4GB laptop decent :P

To use one of your own statements.........."But that has yet to be seen"........on all of the above. Be patient.........Good things come, to those who wait! ;)
