ebay - free pickup

Last week I bought a router from the same seller and I was able to choose an option to pick up the item and not pay shipping.

I went ahead and ordered $44 worth of items, just now, and I was on the search for the pickup option, but I did not find it.

The shipping alone came to $150, so $200 in total.

I clicked on Submit & Review thinking there would be another page, with the free pickup then payment sent, put the Submit and Review just paid for the items with shipping.

I emailed the seller about it, who has a 30k sales and 100%.

Just wondering where that pickup option would have normally popped up.

I cant remember from when I did it last.

Yeah I looked hard for it. Every step of the way.

I might just double down and show up at his store when it opens on Tuesday morning. I sure do not want to pay $150 in shipping for $44 worth of items.

Usually you need to request an invoice and put in the note saying you wish to the item up. Happens sometimes when the seller forgets to add the shipping option when setting up the listing.  It's pretty easy to overlook adding pickup options with ebay constantly pushing sellers to use paypal.

Their store is kind of new age.

Very small front area, sells a few laptops, has foozball.

No secretary, but just a few ipads on stands.

On those ipads - You can click to see a sales person, or click on ebay pickup, and a few other options.

The building itself is a big warehouse, a few trucks on the side. Not sure how they get their products, because some of the stuff is worth thousands of dollars.

 

I got a feeling they will do good by me.
