This problem JUST happened today, here's a link to a video explaining my issue.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_HGP6-H6_CMMEdaUVFpNVd5Z3c/view?usp=sharing

In short... My system either WON'T boot at all (case fans come on but nothing else) with my 780 installed OR System boots and is on just long enough for me to get to the log in screen before it shuts off, when this happens there are 2 different things going on inside my case. 1. Screens display nothing and my system appears to still be running OR when the screens go dark only my case fans continue to run. I really need some help here...

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)

Probably overkill but I would probably do a wipe of the OS just to be safe. To me it sounds like a driver issue.

Or you know, just boot into safe mode with networking, download DDU and run it before reinstalling latest supported drivers?

I should also note, my friend wanted me to test his 1070 in my system about a month ago before he went back to Germany. System did the same thing here it would shut off randomly. I didn't think anything of it at the time because I thought the cause was me not installing the 1070 drivers.

UPDATE: Bought 1070. System has shut off once. When this happened my secondary display that I have running off the integrated GPU stays on, which leads me to believe it's an issue with my PSU not the card. Thoughts?

What is DDU, also here is an updated link to a video regarding my issue... I don't have access to editing software ATM so I couldn't cut anything out of it.  I appreciate the help so much. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_HGP6-H6_CMTnMtR1UyZ0p1R2M/view?usp=sharing

DDU uninstalls graphics drivers safely allowing new ones being installed fresh. Does it boot into bios?

As of my update: system ran fine with 1070 installed and tested GTA V as well as Nevermind, which pegs my GPU at 100%. I had the system on for about an hour. As for what you said about DDU, I did get the current drivers installed yesterday. Like I think I said, I think it might be my PSU, as I mentioned I switched the GPU power to a different rail and used a different PCI power header to plug into my card. I'm still worried though

Quite possible. Could check the voltage. Got any multi-meters sitting around?

not at the moment. I did monitor the 12V in BIOS which I know isn't super accurate. Only had a brief flucuation to 11.94 V other than that it stayed at 12V
