Hey all,

I've been having a problem with my 950 for a while. Not sure what the problem is but i know that GTAV and Fallout 4 are not working at all! Like they won't even start without crashing! I just started to open other programs to see if there were any other non-working programs...i found that not even WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER worked. Think its a driver problem but i really have no idea at this point. I tried updating drivers, uninstalling crap, reinstalling more crap but nothing seems to work! I even took out my gc and tried to play GTA...it worked but was running at like 2 FPS..If anyone can help i'd REALLY appreciate that(i haven't played video games in 3 weeks..i'm going through withdraw lol).  Also i can run CS:GO and Unturned not sure if that changes anything but just putting that out there.

Thanks,

Tropic

  1. You have an OC? Remove it.
  2. DDU your driver installation while in safe mode (this is different than just uninstalling). Then, install the latest version via custom installation and select only the drier, don't select none of the other BS that comes with it - including GFE.
  3. If it's still crashing, try to slightly underclock your card.

Tried all this...none of them worked but thanks anyways!

Well if driver reinstalled failed, and you've no OC, try a stress test to see if the GPU still functions, it might be a bad card, maybe a VRM or a part has failed.

Yours faithfully

Is there a way to check if a part is broken or failed? Just did a stress test...it seemed to be working fine...i should also mention that CS:GO runs fine without any problems...if that helps you help me :P

Have you tried reinstalling the games? They might be what is corrupt, if the card runs fine on a stress test and plays other games fine it sounds like the games might be off, maybe a config file or memory corruption occurred, verify the games' cache.

Yours faithfully
