i'm thinking about upgrading from my nexus 6p. had it for pretty much a year now. though i'm conflicted on whether this year's offers warrant a big enough jump..

right now i'm deciding between the oneplus three and the axon 7. the pixel XL was about to be my third choice but that price tag is too high. though i am willing to wait for reviews

mostly for the 820 chip. the 810 v2 is still a good chip, but my 6p is feeling a bit bogged down lately.

I would wait another year personally. I'm still on the OnePlus One and I'm waiting for either the Four to come out or perhaps wait until the possible Snapdragon 830 phones come out.

i just hope the 830 can close the gap with the A10 fusion.. and match storage performance

According to this article it is supposedly going to be manufactured by Samsung on their 10nm process.

I usually skip on generation before upgrading...

e.g. Nexus 5 --> Nexus 6P

I mean that's a somewhat legitimate reason, though I'd look up benchmarks to see just how much better the 820 is. I'm not really a power user so my 6p is still snappy as ever for my needs.

Same here.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
