My PC randomly keeps freezing.

I'm having some problems with my PC I just built, about two months ago. My PC will randomly just freeze up, as in freeze my display freezes, I can still hear my video games still being played but I can move my mouse. It's been doing this for a little bit now and its kinda annoying me at this point. This picture shows my PC Specs and I also have a GTX Geforce 1070. If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it.

I've updated all my drivers and it still happes, its been doing this for about a month now

Make sure you have drivers for EVERYTHING. I recently had made a post that my ethernet port was not working. Turns out that Gigabyte has separate drivers for the Ethernet port.

Visit all of the websites of your products, starting with your graphics card. If updating drivers doesn't work, then try running it in safe mode.

• If you have a overclock on the CPU, remove that for the moment.
• Use display driver uninstaller to remove all junk drivers that decided to stay
• Make sure your CPU isn't overheating
• As others have said, make sure you have the drivers for everything; Go around manufactures websites and check for newer drivers.

 

Also, post full specifications and/or post them on your profile.

Random freezes? If that happens to me I will run memtest86 to check my ram for errors.

Freezes, which for sure aren't GPU related, are most likely HDD/SSD or RAM related. Do Memtest, maybe test without GPU and reinstall Windows.
