Hey guys ive just ordered the gtx 1060 g1 gaming 6gb now im wondering if my PSU can handle it.

I have a 400 Watt Venegance 80+ Bronce PSU,  i7 2600k OC to 4GHz, 16 gigs of ram and 4 Fans + 2 of the CPU cooler..

 

You guys think i have to remove some fans or will it be enough

Fans use almost no power(normally 1w or less). No reason to do this

haha i dont realy know... was just wondering and didnt know those arent using that much power as i though... i hope otherwise i have to get a new one

if you can try and get an EVGA or MSI 1060 instead, Gigabyte cards have bad PCBs, shoddier components, and are louder and hotter

How does this fall under the GPU category. This belongs under cases and PSU's if you are worrying about wattage. I say it would definitley be pushing your PSU, and you may have to clock your CPU down to be safe.

Never heard of the PSU I wouldn't even trust it. I'd get an EVGA 550w G2

meh its a random Corsair value unit not great not good but not terrible either

LOL corsair makes some crap PSUs like the old green label CXM PSUs. The fact we haven't heard about it means it probably is old and bad.

What website did you order from? Maybe they will let you either cancel or exchange it once you receive it

well i think its pretty new not even 1-2 years since it released

No Gigabyte is not that bad, but they are towards the middle of the pack for AIB companies.

not really going to die on you hopefully but other companies make better performing, longer lasting, cooler, quieter, and better looking cards.

well i dont know these but friends had gigabyte and they liked them

Well if nothing will break I won't upgrade for a time, but if, I will defenetly get one with 600+
