Hello everyone, this is my first post here so please forgive or correct any errors. (Also not native speaker)

So... I'm from Argentina, where everything is 100% more expensive and had my pc for over 3 years already and i want to upgrade it for gaming.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 4.1GHz 6-Core Processor (with stock cooler)

Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M LX3

Video Card: XFX AMD Radeon HD 7950 Core Edition 3GB GDDR5

Memory: DDR3 8gb 1600 mhz Kingston PC3 1600

Storage: 640gb SAMSUNG HD642JJATA (This one's got more than 6 years.)

Case: I only know the brand, BLAZE, and it's the cheapest one you can find, although it has a window with a very colourful led 80mm cooler in it :D (which is very noisy)

Power Supply: Sentey ERP-750 SS

Monitors: acer AL2416WBsd Silver 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 1,000:1

    Philips Smart TV 43PFG5501_77

I do really want to have a better machine but it's very expensive to buy anything here so my budget of let's say 1000 u$s it's not the same budget for someone in north america, everything is 100% more expensive here as i already said before.
My first thought was "Okay, let's buy a 1070 because i want to have better performance only in games for 2 to 3 years". I only use the TV for gaming and don't really want to use it in more than 1080, it's fine like that.Of course i start investigating and yes, like every of you know, it will bottleneck like crazy, no GPU upgrade for me.

My budget is around 500 U$s for Noth Americans, it actually is like 1000 but the price thingy. I want a very awesome GPU but i can't just exchange it like that (the card might not even fit in my case) so i was looking for recomendations if i should change everything else, cpu, mother, memmory and case first or just buy the 1070 and wait until i can upgrade the rest.
If you think i should upgrade everything else first please tell me what you recommend to get which would work for 3 years more or less. Also please bare in mind the pricing.

Sorry if it's long because of me ranting, sorry for any mistakes and thanks in advance :D

PS: I can add benchmarks if you want for any reason you think.

for 1200p 60hz you should be alright for the most part, I'd just keep on saving and wait for like Zen potentially

or maybe get an RX 470 or something depending on pricing, it's a decent step up, something like 60-80% more performance going by Tflops and maybe a light OC

here, you basically have a slightly slower 380

Maybe just add an SSD and call it a day

I agree, GPU upgrade will provide the biggest performance hit right now. Get something like GTX 1060 or RX480 and keep the rest for an upgrade early next year (i5+Z270 or Zen if  u wait that long.)

Connection200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi

My baby: CPU - i7-4790, MB - Z97-A, RAM - Corsair Veng. LP 16gb, GPU - MSI GTX 1060, PSU - CXM 600, Storage - Evo 840 120gb, MX100 256gb, WD Blue 1TB, Cooler - Hyper Evo 212, Case - Corsair Carbide 200R, Monitor - Benq  XL2430T 144Hz, Mouse - FinalMouse, Keyboard -K70 RGB, OS - Win 10, Audio - DT990 Pro, Phone - iPhone SE

get a used 980 if you can or a RX 470/480 or if you can a 1060 and then get a new CPU and motherboard. something like an I5 4690K and a Z97 motherboard + cooler, not sure how much of that you can get but i would get a new CPU and motherboard first

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

After much thought, not really, and careful consideration i think this would be best for me right now, i'm gonna go for the 1060. Maybe add an SSD like Streetguru said if i can find an affordable one and wait for ZEN to come out.

Would also recommend a solid base to work from. So a new CPU and mobo. For best bang of the buck if you can hold out a few months more would be great. Zen and Kaby release most likely early Q1 2017. This will lower prices of current gen stuff, and you could also see if something of the new stuff is worth while. If Zen can catchup a bit, it might even push prices more. Sadly prices of RAM seem to go higher comming time. Anyway pick something decent and unlocked, because that can save you money in the long run since it can deliver extra usable lifespan.

Overall when talking RAM speeds you can save some money with going only 2133 or 2400. More speed is overall no big thing.

A good aircooler can go a long way with even a high OC and is much cheaper overall then a liquidcooler. If it fits would suggest the Scythe Fuma (159mm height).

Also then a SSD might be welcome from atleast 250GB because of performance this with lower ammount of storage. Samsung 750 series are very good performing budget SSD.

Never heard of that PSU, but if it still works you could save money and put it over (assuming it has all connectors you need).

it better be a 6gb 1060 though

Less than o month till Black Friday, Samsung Evos will be selling like hot cupcakes so keep your eye out ! 250gb SSDs will be sold for cost of 120gb and thats a great deal.

Your CPU isnt the greatest but you can play games at 60fps (not maxed out) for a while with new gpu. All good.

Yeah... Your black friday is not like ours, in here they up the prices like %40 a week before and then put a %50 "discount" on those prices. It kind of sucks. Also SSDs are very popular in here because of the cost so not many places have them.

Well seems I would go 1060 6GB aslong as it isn't a founders edition.

that's the one if the 470 pricing is really like that

that way you save some cash in the future should you upgrade to a free-sync display
