Some pleb questions I would like answered.

1. What are the benefits of playing on higher resolutions?

2. What are pixels and what do they do with resolutions?

3. Does having more pixels mean better or is it like a double edged sword?

Playing games at higher resolutions make the game look better and more realistic.

Images are made of small blocks of colour, each block of colour is a Pixel. The more pixels the more defined an image will be.

For example 1920x1080 (1080p) is 1920 pixels wide 1080 tall.

More pixels will make content look better providing the content supports it. E.G. having a 4k screen isn't going to make an 8bit game look any better.

2: resolution = number of pixels

2: pixels are the dots of color that make up your display. (Press your nose into the screen, you'll see them)

3: more pixels means the image is preceived smoother, but you offcourse need the hardware to drive those pixels properly. (More pixels = more gpu usage)
