New Pc apps

Hi guys! My friend got a new PC, and he needs some apps. He's custom built them, so he doesn't have anything except his OS. I forgot what website Linus uses to get app apps needed like browsers, benchmarks, etc. I remember seeing a video where Linus says "After your pc has booted up, I highly suggest you to go to (website) to download all applications...". Anyone know what that is? Thanks!
