Fast internet but slow browsing

Recently I have had problems with internet speeds. Youtube videos download fine, but it slows down when I load web pages. For instance, using Facebook is very hard as pages take ages to load and video calling is absolutely terrible.

I did multiple speed tests and averaged 8.5mbps up and 0.5mbps down. I have an interview coming up this month and I need to fix this problem ASAP.

HDD: 1T

OS: Windows 10

Basically it's a laptop from HP

What ISP are you using? Some throttle traffic from certain websites and speed up when they notice you're doing a speed test.

My ISP is called STC. I have called them many times and they have refreshed my IP address and said everything should be fine...  (I live in Saudi Arabia because of my dad's job...)
