I have a gtx 770. Recently i noticed that i was having artifacting in certain programs (menu in csgo, Itunes, Facebook?) and theres like hundreds of little red dots. They are not that annoying as they dont interfear in my day to day but im worried. So i used MSI afterburner to underclock my gpu and that didnt seem to do anything. I think its a vram issue. Is there any fix?

Check/ replace the cable first, if not try downclocking and see if it goes away.

EDIT: just noticed you already tried downclocking.

It is screwed in? usually a loose cable can cause that.

There's also a chance that it's a bad driver issue, try uninstalling with DDU and installing version 361.91

It could be issue with over heating.

Have you try cleaning the dust off the heat stink that likely choke the air flow and it's rather old card therefore it could be thermal paste has harden to a point it can't transfer heat anymore, Try replacing the thermal paste as well.

If it was overheating it would downclock, and cause the card to be less likely to produce artifacting.

Regardless, Try cleaning the Graphics Card, Its always good to keep the computer clean.

It does fix the issue then its all good, if it does not then its already broken to begin with.
