Curved doesn't really matter to me.

It'll be used for some oh sweet, sweet gaming, editing and casual use.

If you are planning to use it for gaming, the Dell is the better option due to the faster response time of 5ms.

Both are 5ms, and "ms" is basically irrelevant anyways. Bad way of marketing performance in monitors, shouldn't be looked upon when choosing.

You really shouldn't pay attention to response time numbers, as they don't tell you what the actual response time of the monitor is. They are pretty much just meaningless numbers.
