Great build bro. But why opt for the micro ATX tower case. Why not get some good looks in there. Corsair's Spec Alpha case look great for roughly the same price. :)

I just like small form factors tbh, ill make one for ATX quick though

No SSD...

Yeah true, but he wanted to store his streams on the PC so i opted for a 2 Tb instead of a 1tb and an SSD

If your friend doesn't intend to overclock, I'd use:

CPU: i5-6500 - an i7-6700 might be better, if cost allows.

Cooler: stock or CM Hyper 101i

Mobo: B150 or H170 based motherboard.

RAM: 16Gigs (2x8) DDR4-2133

SSD: 120-250Gig

HDD: 1TB - you can always add more later if needed.

GPU: GTX-1070 (or RX 480)

PSU: Corsair CX550M

Case: whatever your friend likes the look of and/or fits within what's left of the budget.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD
