AMD Will Tape Out 20nm & 14nm Chips In 2013 & Early 2014.

So, there's going to be another AMD GPU in 2013? 

hopefully, but i kinda doubt it not after maxwell had roll out. its said that maxwell will be available in Q4 13 with small quantities and mass availability in Q1 or Q2 14

of course i mean next gen gpu's

Not a 20nm one, those will be coming in Q3 or Q4 of 2014.

Taping out a chip means finalizing its design in terms of floor plans, transistor counts, production sampling etc...

Once a chip is taped out it begins the manufacturing phase, in which yields are assessed and fab capacity is ramped up, once the yields are up to par large scale manufacturing begins, about 2-3 months later (a quarter) the product is available on-shelf.
