Need a new GPU

I am building a PC that I am going to be using to game on a 1440p ultra wide monitor and need to select a GPU. I am going to be playing a lot of triple a tires and some esports games. The monitor I have uses free sync so I need an AMD card, I would be open to doing crossfire if necessary. Any suggestions?

Pretty much yeah. aftermarked RX480 with all the memory. Or wait.

Wait or RX480 8GB Crossfire. That's the only way to get good performance on high settings at 1440 on the Red Team.

 

OR buy 1 Fury X, they are quite cheap rn

I would wait for Vega release, or if you can't wait, grab an R9 Fury or Fury X for cheap (don't pay more than the price of a GTX 1070 for either, in fact in the US Furies go for $310 which is a very competitive price).
