Go with 10. They cut the support for windows 7 down to 2 servers so updates will take days to download or find. You also are only getting basic security patches as everything else is on 10 now. You won't have DX12 and windows 10 is built of windows 7. IMO windows 8.1 is the worst windows to use

Just keeping this here as a
